How do I order?

Firstly contact us to ensure your required date is available. Please ensure that the date you are enquiring about is the date you wish the cake to be available for collection on, rather than the date of your event.

We can then discuss designs and Sweet Harmony Cakes will provide you with a detailed quotation and price.

If you would like to go ahead with your cake, a 50% non-refundable deposit (up to £50) will be required as soon as possible. Dates will not be considered as booked until this deposit has been received and dates will be booked on a first come first served basis in order of received deposits.

Balances should be paid 1 week prior for orders costing up to £100 and 4 weeks prior for orders costing over £100

Deposits and balances should be paid by bank transfer (please contact us for account details) or via paypal (from an existing account or use the pay now button to use your paypal account or credit/debit card). Please do not pay a deposit unless you have contacted Sweet Harmony Cakes to discuss your cake and have confirmation that the date is available.

Please ensure that you are happy with our Terms & Conditions as payment of a deposit indicates acceptance of these.

Do you deliver?

Currently we only offer delivery for Wedding Cakes. Delivery will be charged at a rate of 50p per mile including return journey. Delivery must be arranged and booked at the time of ordering.

Where should I collect from?

Sweet Harmony Cakes is based in Lordswood, Medway. A full address will be given on ordering. Collection times should be arranged at time of ordering.

How should I transport my cake?

All cakes will be packaged ready for transportation. Cakes are best placed in the foot-well of the passenger seat (taking care that there is nothing that can fall onto it), or if it is too big, in the (empty) boot of the car. Cakes could also be held by the passenger. Care should be taken when turning corners or driving over speed bumps. Once a cake has left the premises by collection, Sweet Harmony Cakes takes no further responsibility.

How long will my cake last?

Your cake has been made to order with your collection/delivery and event dates in mind. It is best eaten as soon after the event date as possible. (However, we have eaten cake over a week old and it still tastes yummy!). Do not put your cake in the fridge (as this will affect the sugarpaste). It is also best not to put the entire cake in an airtight container as this will make decorations go soft. Simply wrap the cut end with foil or cling film to keep the cake fresh.

Can you cater for special diets?

Sweet Harmony Cakes can currently offer a gluten free sponge or madeira cake. It is possible that we could offer this on other flavours but these have not yet been tested. A dairy free alternative is also possible, but again this has not yet been tested.

Please note that all our cakes are prepared in a kitchen where peanut butter is frequently used. Allergen information will be provided on quotation.
